Master’s studies have been realized at the Centre for Techniques and Management in Applied Arts of the University of Novi Sad from the academic 2006/2007 to 2008/2009. |

New
media, which have been developing more and more, have imposed a need
for training personnel, thus enable them to approach to problems in the
field of techniques and management in Applied Arts from scientific
point of view. The Centre offers the possibility of topic to be chosen
among wide spectrum of interests in the field of visual culture, as
well as to elaborate the topic by applying multidisciplinary approach.
Theoretical level is of primary importance in the field of visual
cognition. These interdisciplinary studies, being specific by their content, train technical and scientific personnel for developing and cultivating perception and creative thinking, through the programmes that have been offered. Students are developing and deepening the possibility of creative thinking in practice through offered programmes and exercises that represent a very important part of education. |

The
curriculum is created in a way that it comprises all subjects that
refer to visual communications, especially graphic communications. The
compulsory subjects are: Theory of Graphic Communications, Techniques
and Technology of Graphic Communications, Management in Applied Arts
and Bases of Marketing. The optional subjects are: Placard, Typography
or Calliography Letter, Utilitarian Graphic, Book and Graphics with
Technology, Computer Graphics, Computer Animation, Modelling and
Movement Simulation in Visual Communications and Photography. Depending
on the choice of topics, lecturers from other fields, which are
compatible with the chosen topic, are to be invited as lecturer-mentors
or members of a board. |
