| Within the Centre for Sports Management of the University of Novi Sad, master studies have been realized since the academic 2006/2007. Study programme Management, which have been conducted since the academic 2009/2010, has two modules – Management in Education and Sports Management. |
The module Sports Management within the study programme Management prepare students for great number of sports posts at amateur or professional sports organizations, sports clubs, recreation centres, holiday resorts and other public or private agencies, which are being focused on education in sports and activities and programmes concerning sports management.

| The programme
of sports management
comprises all the relevant problems that are in the domain of theory of
economics, sociology of sports, sports as a phenomenon, psychology and
communication in sports, further, management of sports buildings and
events, sports marketing and financial management in sports
organizations. Upon finishing the studies successfully, future managers
will be able: |
| · to learn
about all the aspects of sports management, as well as about the
possibilities which exist within sports industry |
| · to learn
more easier about the main challenges that certain segments of
organization and sports industry are coped with |
| · to
understand the economic, sociological, psychological and philosophical
basis of sports |
| · to
understand the concepts of management and organization, as well as
their application in sports organizations |
| · to
demonstrate their professional skills and to become members of the
modern profession that will in the future have the crucial influence on
the sports management. |
Master’s
studies of sports management can be enrolled by the candidates who got
their degrees in the field of physical education or economic sciences,
as well as the candidates who got the degrees in some other fields and
have had a good experience in the field of sports(acknowledged workers
who worked in the field of sports). The candidates whose average grade
was less that eight(8) during their undergraduate studies, must take an
entrance examination |
