| The International Visegrad Fund offers Master's and Post-Master's scholarships awarded to selected scholars for periods of 1 or 2 semesters (with the exception of Master's scholarships within the In-Coming scheme where 1- to 4-semester scholarships can be awarded). |
| The Fund will award about 400 semesters in total in the academic year 2010/2011. |
| Who can apply? |
| - Outstanding scholars who wish to study at accredited universities in V4 countries (Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia) and who are citizens of the following countries: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Georgia, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, the Russian Federation, Serbia and Ukraine. These scholars can apply for the In-coming Scholarships. |
| - The applicant must either have completed a Bachelor’s program or, in specific cases (if the study program is not divided into distinct Bachelor's and Master's study programs) completed at least 3 years before starting the scholarship. |
| The length of supported studies |
| The length of the supported period of study / research will be 10 months (2 semesters) or 5 months (1 semester). |
| The maximum length of supported studies for applicants within the In-Coming Scholarship scheme applying for Master’s Scholarship is 20 months (4 semesters); it is possible to support an entire Master’s study program through one application. |
| Successful applicants within this scheme will receive scholarships of EUR 2,300/semester. |
