EUGLOH PhD Spring School 2026 brought together PhD students and professors from across Europe in Novi Sad, during a three-day onsite programme from 6-8 May 2026. Hosted by the University of Novi Sad and its Faculty of Sport and Physical Education, the event fostered collaborations, creation of new ideas, and development of future research connections.
Envisaged as a research-intensive programme, the EUGLOH PhD Spring School was designed to strengthen doctoral candidates’ academic independence, scientific writing skills, and ability to work in international and intercultural research environments. The primary aim of this activity is to promote the concept of active, healthy, and productive living within the intercultural and international setting of the EUGLOH Campus.
With overall 25 participants, the School offered a creative space to improve scientific writing, learn about literature review methodology, and empower international teamwork through interactive lectures and mentoring sessions. Participants worked in small international teams with a plan to continue collaboration after the on-site session through one month of structured online mentorship and group work.
Extracurricular programme was additionally enriched through EUGLOH Cultural Corridors segment, which featured a traditional Serbian folk dance class and a sightseeing tour of Novi Sad.
