Abstract:

Through the presentation of the Living Technosols project by PhD candidate, Mrs Chengcheng Feng (Wageningen University), the lecture aims to expand good practices and insights on soil health applications. The lecture will focus on the social dimension and value of expanding citizen science in soil health; a crucial field that is inextricably connected with the sustainability of agri-food ecosystems. Through the presentation of practical applications from the project, students and academic staff will have the opportunity to learn and deepen their understanding of how to make scientific research more participatory and open to society.

There will be time for questions and discussion at the end of the lecture. The online lecture is organised by Web2Learn and is part of the Erasmus+ project AGRIMA (Agri-food Waste Management for Sustainable bio-economythrough Higher Education curricula and upskilling, https://web2learn.eu/portfolio/agrima/).
