Within the EUGLOH Alliance, University of Novi Sad hosted the course „Communication and Presentation Skills in Professional Environment“ which was realized during May 2023. Students who participated in the course were from the University of Novi Sad and five other partner universities – Université Paris-Saclay (France), Lund University (Sweden), Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (Germany), Universidade do Porto (Portugal) and University of Szeged (Hungary).

The Nobel Prize laureate Professor Dan Shechtman, a prominent professor at Technion – Israel Institute of Technology and the professor of Iowa State University, visited the University of Novi Sad, 15 May 2023. On this occasion, Professor Shechtman held a lecture on quasi crystals, for which discovery in the early 1980s he was awarded with the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2011.

The University of Novi Sad hosted a reception for five of its students who participated as volunteers in a rescue mission after the devastating earthquake in Turkey in the beginning of 2023. The event was held in the Rectorate Building, 13 March 2023.

The students of bachelor and doctoral studies in gastronomy from the Faculty of Sciences, University of Novi Sad, participated in the International Culinary Competition of Southern Europe, held 17-20 February 2023, in Thessaloniki, Greece. The event was organized under the auspices of the World Association of Chefs' Societies (WACS) and the national chefs’ association of Greece.
