COOPERATION WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF TRIESTE

Prof. Maurizio Fermeglia, PhD, Rector of the University of Trieste, and one of the most eminent professors of Comparative Law in the world Prof. Mauro Bussani, PhD, from the University of Trieste, visited the University of Novi Sad on 25th April 2016.

 

The guests were welcomed by Prof. Dušan Nikolić, PhD, Rector of the University of Novi Sad, together with his associates. On this occasion, the Rectors of both Universities signed the Letter of Intent with regard to the establishment of a strategic partnership between the two institutions and the launching of the joint scientific and development project titled ʻGeopolitics of Migration and International Cooperation for Sustainable Developmentʼ.

The signature ceremony for the Letter of Intent was enriched by the music programme. The song ʻCon te partiroʼ by Francesco Sartori, accompanied by the piano played by Aleksandra Marković, was performed by Ana Bajić, a soprano, and Milan Perišič, a tenor, the students of solo singing at the ʻIsidor Bajićʼ Music School, in the class of Professor Senka Nedeljković.

The composition by Dušan Stular, ʻNADA - Cancone tangoʼ, was performed by the quarter ʻLazini trubaduriʼ  comprising the Academy of Arts students in the class of Full Professor Marina Milić Apostolović: Larisa Kopić – 4^th year, violin, Tijana Krulj – 2^nd year, flute, Marko Radojković – 3^rd year, guitar, Ilija Zec – 1^st year, guitar.

On the same day Professor Mauro Bussani held a lecture at the Faculty of Law on the topic: The Common Core of European Private Law Project: Twenty Years After. An Endless Beginning.
