UNS HOSTED EUGLOH COURSES DURING THE SUMMER SEMESTER 2023/2024

Within the EUGLOH Alliance, during the summer semester 2023/2024., University of Novi Sad realized three short credit bearing courses for undergraduate, master and PhD students in blended format– Problem Solving Using Open-Source Languages; R and Python; Edible, medicinal and poisonous mushrooms and Communication and Presentation Skills in the Professional Environment; as well as four short credit bearing courses in online format – Climate Action for Health; English Language Skills in the Workplace; Financial Literacy in Health Economics; and Management and Coordination of EU Funded Projects with the PM² Methodology – PM24EUFunds.

According to their wishes and interests, students from all partner universities had the opportunity to acquire additional knowledge in one or more areas included in the mentioned courses. Interesting topics in the field of application of programming languages, mushroom science, health and climate change, as well as some soft skills attracted almost twice the number of applied candidates compared to the available number of courses seats.

Certificate of attendance, as well as additional ECTS credits, were obtained by a total of 106 students.

Course lecturers were eminent professors from the Faculty of Sciences, Faculty of Technology, Academy of Arts, Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Technical Sciences of the University of Novi Sad.

The praise and impressions of the students, obtained in surveys conducted after the completion of the courses, testify to the knowledge and unforgettable experiences that the students gained in online classes, as well as during their stay at the University of Novi Sad.
