6TH CHINA-CEEC EDUCATION POLICY DIALOGUE OF THE MINISTERS OF EDUCATION AND THE 5TH MEETING OF CHINA-CEEC HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS CONSORTIUM

After two successful meetings, 4th Meeting of Higher Education Institutions Consortium and 5th China-CEEC Education Policy Dialogue, which were held in September 2017 in Novi Sad, Serbia, this year the 6th China-CEEC Education Policy Dialogue of the Ministers of Education and the 5th meeting of China-CEEC Higher Education Institutions Consortium will be held on 28-29 May 2018 in Shenzhen, China. The Consortium meeting will be dedicated to the cooperation and joint capacity building activities in the field of higher education, science and innovation.

The theme for the 5th meeting of China-CEEC Higher Education Institutions Consortium is Cultivation of Innovative Talents for Improving Cooperation between China and CEEC. Topics will cover Building China-CEEC Joint Innovation Ecosystem, AI and Talent Cultivation and International Culture Exchange and Social Innovation. As part of the programme, the consortium meeting participants will also visit some universities and enterprises in Shenzhen.

Both events are the largest educational events within China and Central and Eastern Europe Countries (CEEC) cooperation, organized by the Chinese Government within 16+1 Cooperation Mechanism and Belt and Road Initiative. This year's events will be the largest ones since their establishment and there are already 118 Chinese universities who applied with 228 participants including 92 Rectors/Vice rectors.
