A MONOGRAPH OF THE UNIVERSITY OF NOVI SAD DEDICATED TO PROF. DR. GORDANA VUNJAK NOVAKOVIĆ

As part of the edition of the University of Novi Sad DHC – Doctor Honoris Causa a new monograph was published and it is dedicated to Prof. Dr. Gordana Vunjak Novaković, a Serbian-American Bioengineer and Full Professor at Columbia University in New York, who is one of the world leaders in the field of Tissue Engineering. Prof. Dr. Gordana Vunjak Novaković was conferred with an honorary doctorate of the Universiy of Novi Sad during the ceremony marking the Day of the University of Novi Sad on June 28, 2017.

 

The publication encompasses the following chapters: Anything is Possible (Rector’s introductory note); From the Report on the Candidate for Awarding an Honorary Doctorate; Towards Regenerative Medicine of the Future (the text of the inaugural lecture by Prof. Dr. Gordana Vunjak Novaković); Professional Biography; Bibliography; In honour of Mihajlo Idvorski Pupin; About the University of Novi Sad; and Inauguration Ceremony in Pictures. The monograph has 152 pages.

The printing of the monograph was fully funded by the Provincial Secretariat for Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina.
