A two-day conference National Open Science Days will be organised in Belgrade on October 18-19, 2018, within the Erasmus+ project Boosting Engagement of Serbian Universities in Open Science – BE-OPEN, coordinated by the University of Novi Sad, and with the support of the FP7 OpenAIRE project.
The aim of the Conference is to introduce to researchers from Serbia the principles of open science and current initiatives and requirements in this area, especially in the context of projects funded by the European Commission. Invited foreign speakers will present successful examples of the application of open science in the European Union. Also, participants will be able to get acquainted with the current situation in open science in Serbia, especially with the recently adopted Open Science Platform and the activities related to the development of the Portal open science and the National Repository of Scientific Publications.
