INTERNATIONAL MEETINGS ON THE OCCASION OF THE NOVI SAD EDUCATION FAIR

The University of Novi Sad hosted a visit by the representatives of several higher education institutions from Nizhny Novgorod, Russia and the University of Istočno Sarajevo, on March 7^th, 2019.

The academic delegation from Nizhny Novgorod included: Dmitry Ganin, Deputy Rector and Sergey Souslov, Director of Publishing Centre of the Institute of Engineering and Economics; Lolita Bikteeva, Director of the Department of International Education and Cooperation and Yulia Altynova, Deputy Director of the same Department, the Agricultural Academy; and Maria Kondratyeva, Head of Department (Foreign Trade Activities), Committee of International Relations of the City of Nizhny Novgorod. On behalf of the University of Istočno Sarajevo the meeting was attended by the Vice-Rector for Science, Research and Development Ass. Prof. Dr. Siniša Berjan.

The guests were welcomed by the Rector of the University of Novi Sad Prof. Dr. Dejan Jakšić, together with the Vice-Rectors Prof. Dr. Sanja Podunavac-Kuzmanović and Prof. Dr. Stevan Stankovski. The Deputy Provincial Secretary for Higher Education and Scientific Research Prof. Dr. Dušica Rakić and the Vice-Dean for International Relations of the Faculty of Agriculture were also present at the meeting.

The topics of the meeting included discussion on the possibilities to further strengthen and enhance the cooperation between the University of Novi Sad and the higher education institutions in Nizhny Novgorod, as well as with the University of Istočno Sarajevo.

The visit was organized on the occasion of the 14^th International Education Fair “Guidelines” that was held March 7-8, 2019, at the Novi Sad Fair where a number of institutions from the country and abroad presented their academic offer. The presentation of the University of Novi Sad at the Fair included all 14 faculties and three scientific institutes.
