MASTER STUDY PROGRAM REPRODUCTIVE BIOLOGY

This is a joint study program of the Faculty of Sciences and the Faculty of Medicine, University of Novi Sad and it is a three-semester Master program of academic studies (90 ECTS), with 10 compulsory courses, 5 elective courses and final paper.

Thanks to the ERASMUS+ project ART-REM, students enrolling in the academic year 2019/2020 do not pay tuituion fees and up to 20 students will be enrolled in the program taught both in Serbian and English.

Project ART-REM is a joint project funded by the EU program ERASMUS+ KA2, Capacity Building in Higher Education. University of Novi sad is the coordinating institution, while Serbian and EU partners are: University of Belgrade, University of Kraguejvac, Ferona IVF Hospital, and Livestock and Veterinary Centre for Reproduction and Artificial Insemination Velika Plana, Newcastle University (United Kingdom), Medical Center ReproBioMed Sofia (Bulgaria), University of Ljubljana (Slovenia), and St. Kliment Ohridski University of Sofia (Bulgaria).

The main objective of the project is to create three study programmes in complementary highly developing area of Reproductive Biology, Animal Reproductive Biotechnology and Regenerative Medicine at Serbian HEIs will be created. These programmes will be in line with the similar programmes in EU and unique not only for educational ground in Serbia but also for neighboring countries. New laboratory equipment, courses and involvement of small enterprises will increase the quality of education and relevance for the labour market and society.

The specific objectives of the project are the following:

  • Modernisation of the MSc programme in Reproductive Biology (at P1), development of the

Specialisation in Animal Reproduction Biotechnology (at P2) and the master study programme in Regenerative Medicine (at P3);

  • Development of the long-life learning (LLL) courses for practitioners;
  • Development of the cooperation framework of the Serbian HEI Partners.
