VISIT OF THE DELEGATION OF THE ZHEJIANG UNIVERSITY

The delegation of Zhejiang University, China, visited the University of Novi Sad on 17^th July, 2019. It belongs to a group of the eldest and most prestigious universities in China, with the tradition over 120 years long.

The delegation included representatives of the Faculty of Education of Zhejiang University. The guests were welcomed by the Vice-Rector for International Relations Prof. Dr. Dejan Madić in the Univeristy of Novi Sad Rector's Office. The representatives of two universities discussed during the meeting the possibilities to establish the bilateral university cooperation in the fields of joint interest. Furthermore, the delegation of Zhejiang University visited the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education, as well the Confucius Institute of the University of Novi Sad that is located at the Faculty of Philosophy.

Zhejiang University is the member of C9 League and belongs to the special category of universities selected by the Chinese Ministry of Education with the aim to develop an elite group of universities (Double First Class). The University is ranked on Shanghai University ranking as the third best ranked univesity in China. Furthermore, Zhejiang University is a founder and coordinator of the International Alliance of Engineering Education within Belt and Road, whose member is also the University of Novi Sad.
