Within the Erasmus+ programme Comm-on Environment, with five partner institutions from the region, a new and innovative educational programme has been created, encompassing five courses that focus on developing skills in basic communication, retorics and legislative matters in the field of ecology and environmental protection.
The Programme empowers environmental communicators in all sectors of society – civil society, academia, media, business, and government. It is intended for all interested to participate in public environment protection discussions from diverse academic levels and backgrounds, such as students, educators, scientists, journalists, communication practitioners, CSOs and businesses representatives, and public officials. Its curriculum spans different areas, including environmental governance, public participation, conflict resolution, risk communication, journalism, social marketing and advocacy.
The Online Programme on Environmental Communication is implemented by the Institute of Communication Studies (Macedonia), the University of Zagreb (Croatia), the University of Novi Sad (Serbia), the University of Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and the University of Tirana (Albania). It is funded by the ERASMUS+ Programme of the European Commission through the National Agency for European Educational Programmes and Mobility of North Macedonia.
All interested can apply through the online application till December 18th, 2022.
