The University of Novi Sad was awarded 2018 Best Partner of CEAIE, a high recognition by the China Education Association for International Exchange – CEAIE, for its contribution to the activities of the China-CEEC Higher Education Institutions Consortium.

As part of the edition of the University of Novi Sad DHC – Doctor Honoris Causa a new monograph was published and it is dedicated to Prof. Dr. Gordana Vunjak Novaković, a Serbian-American Bioengineer and Full Professor at Columbia University in New York, who is one of the world leaders in the field of Tissue Engineering. Prof. Dr. Gordana Vunjak Novaković was conferred with an honorary doctorate of the Universiy of Novi Sad during the ceremony marking the Day of the University of Novi Sad on June 28, 2017.

President of the German National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina Prof. Dr. Drs h.c. Jörg Hacker visited the University of Novi Sad on July 19, 2018.

VOICT OI Lab Novi Sad and University of Novi Sad organized a Demo Day of 1st Cycle of Open Innovations in the scope of activities of the Interreg Danube Transnational Programme DA-SPACE.
